The actual War of the Roses ended some time ago but Lancaster & York Universities continue to do battle every year on the sporting battle grounds to contest Roses.
Lancaster are the hosts in 2018 and the Roses event includes the battle between Lancaster University Running Club and York University Running Club over a 5km road race.
This event will include a bespoke Roses medal but numbers will be limited as we need to give priority to the runners of Lancaster & York Running Club.
The route follows the Winter & Summer series 5km route from the 315 Health Club.
