Lancaster Marathon

Welcome to the Lancaster Marathon Page! Run on quiet country roads through the historic City of Lancaster and the stunning Lancashire villages and countryside taking in Dolpinholme, Galgate, Forton and many more!

Our marathon aims to be a friendly race organised by runners who are dedicated to delivering a superb event for every type of runner as well as supporting local charities.

To new marathon runners, and those considering running with us for the first time, we promise a warm welcome and a race with fantastic support. It is however a tough marathon, despite some breath taking views and therefore we recommend some serious training and maybe some hill work before you attempt the marathon!

Regardless if you are an elite runner with prize winning ambitions, chasing a new personal best time, or one of the many unsung heroes for whom a marathon is the ultimate challenge for yourself or for your chosen charity we promise you a race that is tailored specifically for you that you will not forget in a while!!
