PLEASE NOTE:

As sections of our races are on roads, 

WE DO NOT ALLOW THE USE OF HEADPHONES 

unless they are BONE CONDUCTIVITY HEADPHONES as authorised by England Athletics.

Practicalities:

• You will need to collect your race number from the venue from 9.30am, please wear it on the FRONT of your shirt.
• Parking is available in the pay and display car park in the centre of the village.
• Toilets are available at the venue.
• There will be a limited baggage drop at the venue. Please leave your bags in your car or travel light.

The Race: 

• The start is at 11am in Heysham Village.
• Please keep to the left on the course.
• Sealed bottles of water will be available at the start/finish area and at the water stations on the course.
• Please be aware of other users of the promenade and proceed with care.
• Please collect your medal at the self-service point at the end of the finish funnel.

• Each race starts from the same point and turns at the signed and marshalled places along the route.

First Aid:

•  A First Aid post will be located near the start/finish area.
•  If you need attention on the course, please speak to the nearest marshal who will notify the medics.

Results:

• Manual times will be used for this event 
• Provisional results will be published shortly after the event on: https://ukroadraces.co.uk . If you have any queries about the results contact  shoestring360@gmail.com by midnight on Tuesday following the event.
• Finalised results, in time order, will be posted on https://ukroadraces.co.uk on the Wednesday following the event.

Family and Friends:

•  Please support your athlete at a safe distance from the general public at the start/finish area and around the course.
•  Please follow the codes of conduct for Runners & Spectators
